The next decade of software will be built on AI that is deeply grounded in real world knowledge. Models are becoming a commodity, but trusted domain data is not. Every useful AI product needs high quality industry specific context, kept fresh, governed and clearly licensed.
BlackVec is building that missing layer. We want any developer to choose a domain, request an API key and instantly stand on top of curated, licensed and continuously updated knowledge, with provenance, evals and usage rights built in. No scraping, no month long negotiations, no fragile pipelines.
Over time this becomes a global network of domain packs across regions and languages. Institutions plug in their own governed data, combine it with external packs and know exactly what their AI is allowed to see, quote and remember.
As BlackVec becomes the default domain knowledge layer for AI, shipping an AI product will feel like spinning up cloud compute. You will bring the idea and the model, BlackVec will provide the domain intelligence that makes it valuable.
